The London Underbelly Festival in South Bank is a festival of live entertainment including comedy, circus and more, and to sample all the culinary delights that Britain has to offer all you need to do is buy food from the kiosks and enjoy it alfresco. One of London's largest outdoor bars is also located here, so you will have a chance to sample British beer.

The festival has been held every year for the last 10 years and it continues to attract large crowds of both locals and foreigners. The attractions are varied. This year, if you like comedy you can expect to enjoy the likes of Katy Brand, Nina Conti, James Acaster, Sara Pascoe, Ruby Wax, Danny Bhoy, Stephen K. The Underbelly circus and cabaret shows also pull in big crowds and this year's performers include the Ethiopian circus troupe Circus Abyssinia and Peepshow. The London Underbelly Festival in South Bank is a perfect place for the family to spend the day as there is lots of fun for the children. They can enjoy great theatre including Metta's Little Mermaid and the Amazing Bubble Man.

Like with many other London attractions, it is best to arrive at this festival in the morning - the great weather means that there is a huge turnout every day, and if you come later in the day there may be too many people already for you to have much fun.
